This type of work (Painting and Plastering) is done by securing a harness around the plasterer/painter in order to be able to work on hard to reach places, usually at considerable heights.

GR1000 (Kisi tal-Frakass) is a sand-based type of plastering which is very easy to manipulate and adapt on limestone, cement and also gypsum. This type of plaster is usually used for exteriors. Painting is done after the GR1000 is applied.
